Travel Photo: Anawangin Cove, Zambales

Hi! Today I will be featuring a photograph I captured during the fun-filled, exciting, and exhilarating EPIC Weekend with friends at Zambales.

Where in the world is this?

This is the spectacular view of Anawangin Cove in San Antonio, Zambales. This cove is crescent shaped with a wondrous view of the rugged mountains. Its beach is clean and unspoilt. Lots of towering pine trees can be found in the campsite too. This cove is really perfect for picnics, campings, and beach bumming.

In every outthrust headland, in every curving beach, in every grain of sand there is the story of the earth. ― Rachel Carson

  1. Zambales is a bit of a travel. Any suggestions for inns, hotels, lodges? I'm not going there any time soon, but I can store the info for future use.

    1. When we went to Anawangin Cove, we just brought our tents for camping overnight. I think there are tents available for use at the campsite too. At Brgy. Pundaquit, there are cottages there beside the beach.

  2. Been to another cove further west and north of Anawangin. Sitio Sampaloc, I think it was called. First time I stayed in a place with no electricity. Quite an adventure!

A must visit place indeed and I'm sure you really had a great time here.

Perfect for family camping and or team buildings. Pretty close from Manila and very serene.
