Travel Photo: Thailand's Tallest Building

Hello! Today, I will be featuring a photograph I captured while having a tour around one of Southeast Asia's megacities.

Where in the world is this?

This is the Baiyoke Tower II located at 222 Ratchaprarop Road in the Ratchathewi district of Bangkok near the markets of Pratunam. Baiyoke Tower (pronounced as "Bayok") is the tallest building in Thailand. It is an 85-storey building which houses a skywalk, a revolving observation deck, and a hotel which is considered as the tallest hotel in Southeast Asia. The height of the building is 328.4 meters (1,077 feet) with the antenna of the tower included. The building has become one of the attractions of the city. It is also the best place to get an awesome view of Bangkok's skyline. One can see the tower from the central district of Bangkok and from the Victory Monument.

Have you seen the Baiyoke Tower in Bangkok? Or have you seen a skyscraper in your travel destinations? Share your experiences and write your comments below!

  1. My friends were eager to travel across Thailand’s famous cities during vacations. Therefore, we decided to click here to get in touch with the car rental services, and complete the booking processes online.
