Hi everyone! Today, I am inspired to start a new blog feature entitled "In the Limelight." But before I will feature them, I would like you to know more about the man behind this travel blog.

At a beach in Limasawa Island, Southern Leyte.

Most embarrassing travel moment:
I remember one time when I can't resist the urge to sleep while riding a bus and I kept on banging my head on the shoulder and face of my seat mate. (Sorry, friend!)

Something I learned about myself while traveling:
I have learned that as a traveler, I have the opportunity to minister and become a blessing to the people who are in need.

One thing I always bring while traveling:
My Bible

Injuries/illnesses incurred while traveling:
While chasing Ormoc's three lakes, I became febrile almost immediately after being drenched by the heavy rain. It forced me to skip the remaining trek.

Lost items/gadgets while traveling:
Wrist watch

Things/persons I miss when I am on the road:
My family

Future travel plans:
- Backpack around Leyte, Biliran, and Samar.
- Travel around the Philippines.
- Explore all the countries in Southeast Asia.
- More travels with my family.

Travel books I would recommend:
I highly recommend Lonely Planet's travel guides. For mountaineering enthusiasts, I suggest these books- The Climb, Into Thin Air, Touch the Top of the World, and Tenzing: Hero of Everest.

Travel movies I would recommend:
I recommend The Bucket List, The Art of Travel, and A Map for Saturday. I also love this adventure movie- Blindsight.

One tip for fellow travelers:
Before traveling, never forget to pray and ask God for His protection and providence during the entire duration of your trip. You can count on Him!

Sum up your travel experiences in one sentence:
My travel experiences are worth remembering and sharing!

Favorite travel quote:
“I have found out that there ain't no surer way to find out whether you like people or hate them than to travel with them.” ― Mark Twain

I agree dun sa sinabi na mag pray sa bawat travel!

    1. Hahaha, salamat Kulapitot! Pa-serious2x lang yan. Oo, pag sa lakaran, wala akong problema. Dati kasi akong mountaineer, kaya sanay sa lakaran. Prayer will not be forgotten when I travel.
