Where in the world is this?
This is the lovely and beautiful campus of East Visayan Adventist Academy (EVAA), my high school alma mater. Located in San Sotero, Javier, Leyte, EVAA is an hour drive from Tacloban City or a 2-hour drive from Ormoc City. EVAA was established in 1992 and today, it still continues to mold and equip young people for service in this world and for the world to come. EVAA is also named as the Guardian of Truth. Seen in the photo is the Administration Building (top left), the Church (top right), and the Cafeteria (front). I was a student here in these school years, 2000 to 2004. And until now, after 9 years, I still love to visit this place and bring back the memories of my high school years.
"The system of education instituted at the beginning of the world was to be a model for man throughout all aftertime. As an illustration of its principles a model school was established in Eden, the home of our first parents. The Garden of Eden was the schoolroom, nature was the lesson book, the Creator Himself was the instructor, and the parents of the human family were the students." - Ellen G. White
