New Year. New Beginning. New Plans.

2012 is now behind, and eleven days had slipped through 2013. Another year brings to our lives countless challenges and limitless adventures too!

The dawning of the new year is just like this captivating sunrise.

New Year
A new year is a great time to reflect on past events and look forward to the future. It is a time to reorder our priorities, to straighten our relationships, and to make right the wrong things that we did. For me, a new year is a time to get a pen and write the things and attitudes that we need to change, and start changing them.

"We must always change, renew, rejuvenate ourselves, otherwise we harden."                -Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

New Beginning
A new year is a new beginning, a new start, a new outlook in life. It carries a new hope, a new strength, a new courage, a new future.

"Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending." - Carl Bard

Deep inside me, I feel that the start of a new year leads me to become a new person in Christ.

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." - 2 Corinthians 5:17

New Plans
Plans are laid at the start of a new year. Resolutions are crafted too. And I am not exempted, I have plans and dreams too. This year, I dream of having a job that I love to do. I dream of giving more time in ministry to the needy and less-fortunate. I dream of trekking to the Himalayas and take a glimpse of Mt. Everest. I dream of giving back to my family. I dream of being an inspiration to someone.

"The secret to living the life of your dreams is to start living the life of your dreams today, in every little way you possibly can." - Mike Dooley

What does the new year mean to you? What are your plans? Feel free to share them here!
