Top 3 Restaurant Districts in Vancouver

Located in the province of British Columbia, Vancouver is known for its scenic natural beauty. It is a city where the ocean and mountains meet, with the Pacific along its coast and the Coast Mountains on the other side. Vancouver is one of those unique places where a person can go skiing and windsurfing the same day. This cosmopolitan city is also a hub for a variety of cuisines. Whether a person wants to enjoy Asian fare, European dishes or typical Vancouver cuisine, it is all available in this city.

While there are many restaurants dotting the cityscape, there are some districts that have their fair share of restaurants. The West End

This is the most happening neighbourhood in the city. It is located towards the western part of the Downtown peninsula and is also where the famous Stanley Park is located. This district is located in Downtown Vancouver and is home to the city’s Granville Entertainment district, hotels, clubs, Financial District and historical building. This is also one of the best places in the city to enjoy Vancouver’s cuisine. Travellers will find number of restaurants in this area that cater to a variety of palates.

Commercial Drive-Hastings Park

Forming part of East Vancouver, Commercial Drive-Hasting Park is renowned for its cuisine from different parts of the world. There are a large number of restaurants that serve food from all over the world and that to at reasonable prices. Whether a traveller is looking for Indian, Japanese or Korean food, it will be available here, so they should be armed with their credit card when visiting this neighbourhood. A walk from Broadway to Venables will introduce a traveller to numerous restaurants and they will surely find one to suit their taste and pocket.
