If you will ask me, my answer will be: I don't believe that the world will end tomorrow and I am not afraid.

Why? Let me share to you what I believe.
1. The disciples also asked that same question to Jesus many, many years ago. And Jesus unveiled to us the signs of the end of the world. Read the story in the Gospel of St. Matthew, chapter 24, verses 3 through 14.
3 And as he (Jesus) sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
So before the end comes, there will be plenty of events that will happen to planet earth. And these events will lead to the second coming of Jesus Christ.
2. No one knows the exact or specific date and time of the end. Yes! No one knows, not even the Mayans, the self-professed prophets and well-known astrologers. In Matthew 24: 4, Jesus reminds us to "take heed that no man deceive you." Let me continue the story in Matthew, chapter 24, verses 32 through 36.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
So, only God the Father knows the end of the world.
3. I am not afraid because I believe in God and I trust in His promise that He will come the second time to take His children home to heaven. Be comforted by the words of Jesus recorded in the Gospel of St. John, chapter 14, verses 1 through 3.
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
What a precious promise for all of us!
So, will tomorrow be the end of the world? NO! Will you be afraid too? NO! One thing is sure that God still controls the events of this world and that one day, He will come again and He will reward the faithful.
