Snapshots of Ormoc City, Leyte

Ormoc City is regarded as the "Beauty by the Bay".

It is a first class city in the province of Leyte. Ormoc is taken from the term "ogmok", an old Visayan word for lowland or depressed plain. Furthermore, Ormoc is considered the first non-provincial city of the Philippines.

I will always love Ormoc City, my birthplace, a place full of memories of my childhood years. And it is in this place where I formulated my dreams.

I am sharing to you my snapshots of Ormoc. Enjoy!

Ormoc Bay

Never miss to taste the sweet queen pineapples of Ormoc.

Black, blue, pink, yellow-- Sunset's hue and Magsanga Peak.

Lake Kasudsuran, the little Lake Danao.

Lake Danao View Deck

Lake Danao and a floating cottage.

Dr. Jose Rizal's statue in front of the old City Hall.

Puente dela Riena-- a bridge during Spanish times.

Come to Ormoc and be dazzled by its beauty!
