Historic Sites in Cebu City: 1-Day Itinerary

Cebu is greatly blessed with a variety of historical events that have made it one of the key places of our Philippine history.

Today, I will be sharing to you a 1-day itinerary that will cover the most famous historic sites in Cebu City. (I did it for myself. Solo. No jeepney or taxi rides. I just walked along the busy streets of the city.)

Here it is:

May 22, 2012 (Tuesday)

7:30 am - Cebu Provincial Capitol

8:30 am - Rizal Memorial Library and Museum

9:15 am - Fuente Osmeña

10:30 am - Colon Street

11 am - The Heritage of Cebu

11:15 am - Yap-Sandiego Ancestral House

11:30 am - Lunch (in Colon St. for PhP 39)

12:45 nn - Plaza Sugbu, Magellan's Cross, Cebu City Hall, and BPI Museum

1:30 pm - Plaza Independencia, Malacañan sa Sugbo and Fort San Pedro

2:30 pm - Museo Sugbo (The Best Part of the Experience)

Just enjoying my time in Museo Sugbo.

5 pm - Home

I think, all of us ought to trace and embrace our history, and appreciate its significance for today.

You too can make it in one day!
