A Sunset and Sunrise in Boljoon, Cebu

As a mountaineer, I always long to see a sunset and a sunrise during any of my climbing trips. That longing started when I witnessed an awe-inspiring sunset and sunrise on the summit of Mt. Kitanglad and Mt. Dulang-Dulang in Bukidnon (two of the highest mountains in the Philippines). It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

And now as a traveler, that longing still lingers. I wish that in my travel destinations, I can have a chance of glimpsing a sunset and sunrise.

I experienced it first in Boljoon, Cebu, Philippines!

The beautiful and peaceful sunset.

Having fun in Boljoon with Journeying James.

The resplendent sunrise.

This experience reminds me of how admirable and perfect our world was after God created it. Genesis 1:31 declares, "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." Until now, we can still see the wonderful works of God.

Where have you seen your most fascinating sunset and sunrise? Share it here.

    1. Sir, it is really a great place. If you are planning to visit Cebu, also explore this place. Boljoon is a town in the southern part of Cebu. Take a bus from Cebu and drop by at the Poblacion in Boljoon...

  4. Nice post but sorry to tell you that the first two pics above were for me not real, Boljo-on can speak about itself even without your pics.

    1. Thanks for dropping by! Don't you worry, the photos are VERY REAL. We've been to Boljoon and we've met and talked to their Tourism Officer.

    1. Hello! Thanks for visiting my blog! Actually, I don't have the number of their tourism officer, but you can find him at his office at back part of their municipal hall. Just ask the locals of his office.
