    1. Hello Jenifer! Thanks for your inquiry. We slept at a room near the falls, kasi dati may mga cottages around Kawasan Falls. I don't know at this time. We paid P700 that night. Are you planning to go there? :)

  6. Hi there, ask ko lang if you can recommend a car/ van hire to see these places? I check the touring guide and was soooo expensive! Don't really need a tour guide , just someone to bring us to these places. salamat!

    1. Hello Mervie! Actually, I am not familiar with car or van rentals because I (or we) usually explore Cebu and the province by ourselves. And I think you can do it too. What are your specific questions? You can ride the public transport like bus, jeep, and habal-habal (motorcycle) to get to these places.. :)

    1. Hello there! Actually, if you would take it slow, 2 days is not enough. But you have a great plan if you have 5 days in Cebu. So from the city to Simala and to Southern Cebu. I think you can stay at Dalaguete, or Boljoon, or Oslob, or Moalboal. Have you read my 2 Days of Backpacking Southern Cebu blog post? :)

    1. Hi Eliza! In my trip, we rode a habal-habal (motorcycle) from Dalaguete town proper to the foot of Osmena Peak. We then trekked (cross-country) from Osmena Peak to Badian where we then rode a motorcycle going to Kawasan Falls.

If you can't trek, you can ride a bus from Dalaguete to Carcar, then take another bus from Carcar to Badian. Then drop off at the junction near Kawasan Falls.

  10. Hello. What schedule can you advise if we want to go to White Beach in Moalboal and Sumilon Island?

    1. Hi. You can go to the White Beach in Moalboal anytime of the day. There are many habal-habal (motorcycle) that will take you there from Moalboal town proper.

Sumilon island is in Oslob, on the other side of southern Cebu. I think it is best to go there in the morning, so you have a day to enjoy the island. It's a beautiful island!

  11. Very informative blog! We are planning to do a 5 day Moalboal and Oslob trip this May. Fist we will spend 2 nights in Moalboal then an overnight stay at Oslob.

    Thanks and more power!

    1. Richard, it is best that you go to Kawasan Island during your stay in Moalboal or before you go to Oslob. Moalboal and Badian where Kawasan Falls is just near and these towns are on the same side of south Cebu. Oslob is on the other side kasi.

  13. Good AM,

Thanks for sa blog post and Iten.

Inquire lang po sana ako if you have ideas din on going to poblacion for the Churches, old houses, and Cuartels. Tapos na kasi akong pumunta ng Oslob (whale Watching at Falls).

    Thanks for any tips.

    1. Hey! If you are going to visit the Poblacion, Oslob, you just have to tell the driver or conduktor to drop you off sa may Poblacion. Buses pass by the highway in Poblacion and you just have to walk a few meters to go to the old church and cuartel.
