Logos Hope: A Unique Experience

I, together with my friends, Roy and Roger, had a great and unique experience on board Logos Hope, the world’s largest floating Book Fair.

Logos Hope docked at Pier 1 in Cebu City, Philippines near Malacanang sa Sugbu and Plaza Independencia. We visited Logos Hope on its last day in Cebu City on February 12, 2012.

Logos Hope consists of over 450 crew members who belong to over 45 nationalities, with over 5,000 book titles and with 500,000 books in storage on the ship.

Logos Hope brings knowledge, help and hope.

You can visit their website at www.logoshope.org for more information.

What will you experience on board Logos Hope?

1. Welcome on board!
You will sit in the unique lifeboat theatre, where you will learn about what it’s like to live on this ship.
You can also see an illustrated history of Logos Hope.

2. Book Fair
You will find over 5,000 titles of books.
We spent a great deal of time reading travel books.

3. Journey of Life
You can then follow the prodigal son on his journey through life.

4. Theater
It offers a never-changing glimpse into the work of the ship.

5. International Café
You can then enjoy ice cream, a drink, or popcorn and other snacks available in the ship.
You can also chat with the crew members.

6. Life Experience
You need to experience this inside Logos Hope!
A fun way of learning how to prevent having Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS).

As you leave the ship, you will feel that your life is enriched and that you have learned countless things. You can then recall how you interacted with the crewmembers that come from different countries around the world.

We really had a unique experience on board Logos Hope. An experience of fun and learning!

Logos Hope’s next stop is in Manila, Philippines.

Hey, see this unique welcome sign, only in the Philippines!
