The Meaning of The Adventist Adventurer

I minister and serve. I explore.

What is the meaning behind The Adventist Adventurer?

The Adventist Adventurer is what I call myself. I am an adventurer with the distinct and unique qualities of an Adventist.

I am an Adventist-- a Seventh-day Adventist to be exact. I am a member of a worldwide church which believes in the authority of the Holy Bible as the Word of God, the Seventh-day Sabbath as the true day of rest and worship, and the remnant people who patiently waits for the second coming of Jesus Christ, our Lord. In fact, the Seventh-day Adventist Church which has the World Headquarters at Silver Spring, Maryland, U.S.A. had outlined the church’s 28 Fundamental Beliefs (which I will shortly discuss in my future posts).

I am also a certified adventurer! I am a member of Bukid Climbing Gym in Tacloban City, and Earth Society of Mountain View College, Valencia City, Bukidnon recognized by the Adventist Mountaineering Federation- Philippines.

I am a person who loves to seek adventures and likes its thrills and excitement. And recently, I have decided to embark on a new adventure: backpacking and ministry.

That’s it, The Adventist Adventurer-- combining the principles of ministry and service with travels.
